The Spectrum of the Seas has 16 decks and is 1,142 feet long and 135 feet wide. It has a capacity of 4,246 passengers and 1,551 crew members for the service. This ship is designed initially for the Asian market.
Royal Caribbean offers extraordinary activities such as the famous North Star capsule that rises to 295 feet and offers a 360° view. But you can also try out the Flowrider surfing simulator with its 39-foot waves, the Sea Plex area (video games, sports tournaments, circus school, disco at night), the Sky Pad trampoline area and the Laser Tab games. Not to mention the exceptional presence at sea of a free-fall simulator Ripcord by Ifly.
You can also practice archery, fencing and take dance classes. A total of 55 activities are available on board.
Among the many entertainments, you have the karaoke room, the casino, duty-free stores, culinary demonstrations, 3D movies and theater shows.
Relax on this cruise in the two swimming pools, two hot tubs and numerous sunbeds.
The Vitality at Sea Spa offers a wide range of treatments, massages, acupuncture, sauna, steam room and beauty
salon.
Sports enthusiasts have plenty to do with the running track, the fitness room and the multi-sports field.
On board the Spectrum of the Seas, several areas are reserved for children according to their age (3/5 years, 6/8 years, 9/11 years and teenagers). They are offered games and fun activities supervised by monitors, video games, parties, sports activities.
There is also a space for scientific activities. And outside, the Splashaway Bay is an aquatic area with a paddling pool, waterfalls and whirlpools.
You can vary your culinary pleasures on board the Spectrum of the Seas with some 15 restaurants. Some are included in the fare and others at an additional cost.
Jamie’s Italian offers the finest Italian dishes from the recipes of Chef Jamie Olivier. Seaplex Dog House specializes in hot dogs and Windjammer Market Place is the ship's buffet restaurant.
In the evening, sit back and enjoy your favorite drink in one of the seven bars and lounges, such as the cozy Schooner Bar, with live music.
The Vintages Bar is the ship's wine bar. And for the sensational, head to the Bionic Bar where a humanoid robot prepares cocktails.
For this cruise aboard the Spectrum of the Seas, choose between standard or outside cabins with a balcony for a view of the sea. The average size of the cabins is between 97 and 183 square feet.
For more space, treat yourself to one of the different categories of suites. They have a balcony, a sitting area with a sofa bed, two adjustable beds or a king bed and a bathroom with bathtub.
The most affordable are the Junior Suites of 269 square feet with a balcony of 75 to 108 square feet. The other suites have a surface of 355 to 689 square feet and balcony of 108 to 215 square feet.
The Ultimate Family suite can accommodate 8 people in its 1,345 square feet + balcony of 205 square feet. It has a duplex layout with an indoor slide for children and a Jacuzzi on the balcony.
Royal Caribbean has implemented the "Save the Waves" program for waste management, recycling, energy conservation and sustainable procurement. In addition, the company has partnered since 2016 with WWF for an ocean conservation program.
