1-The ship
With its average size of 916 feet long and 105 feet wide, the Vision of the Seas can therefore access the Panama Canal. The 2,435 passengers have access to 11 decks and are supervised during the trip by 742 crew members. Of the ship's 1,000 cabins, 229 have balconies.
2-Adult Entertainment
Take advantage of the sailing time during the cruise to relax in the two pools, six whirlpools, solarium, and enjoy wellness treatments at the spa and beauty salon. The many duty-free stores in the Altrium central hall are an invitation to shop, and you can take advantage of them to have coffee breaks between purchases.
Sports enthusiasts can work out in the fitness room with a view of the sea, run on the jogging track on deck 10, test the 39-foot climbing wall on deck 10, not to mention the yoga, aerobics and kick-boxing classes.
In the evenings, enjoy shows at the fabulous Masquerade Theater, which spans decks 5 & 6. And vary the nightlife with the Casino Royal and the nightclub.
3-Children's and teen entertainment
Royal Caribbean has childcare for young children ages 6 to 36 months on all ships. The 3/11 years old are expected at the Adventure Ocean for group games, coloring, art activities... And the 12/17 years old have the Teen Center with a lounge bar, TV screens, games and musical entertainment. And for all the youngsters, the video game room allows them to have fun with Fast & Furious, Pacman and Guitar Hero.
4-Gastronomy, bars and lounges
Among the 6 dining options, the main international cuisine restaurant is Aquarus on decks 4 & 5. For specialties, Giovanni's Table and Izumi serve the best of Italian and Asian cuisine. And the Windjammer Café on deck 9 is a buffet overlooking the sea.
Vary the pleasures with Royal Caribbean's many bars and lounges! For a magnificent 360-degree view, settle in on the top floor at the Viking Crown Lounge. And on deck 6, foodies can enjoy coffee, cocktails and pastries at Café Latté-Tudes.
5-Accommodations onboard Vision of the Seas
Staterooms on Vision of the Seas are equipped with twin beds, which can be converted into king-size beds. The average size of the cabins is 161 to 226 square feet. And to enjoy the sea view during the cruise, you choose either a window or a balcony.
If you prefer a larger accommodation, select one of the suites. They are equipped with a balcony and a bathroom with bathtub, sitting area with sofa bed, refrigerator... The average size is 517 square feet with a 108 square foot balcony.
6-Environment
Royal Caribbean is aware of the need to preserve the environment. Also, through its Save the Waves program, it has equipped its ships with LED lighting to reduce energy consumption. It has also eliminated plastic straws on board and is trying to save water, treat bunker water and purify wastewater.
