1-The ship
At 958 feet long and 105 feet wide, the Serenade of the Seas can carry 2,110 passengers and 891 crew members. During the cruise, travelers have access to 12 decks and choose one of the 1,055 cabins.
2-Activities for adults
On deck 12 of the Serenade of the Seas, you can jog on the Running Track, go rock climbing on deck 14 and try out mini-golf on deck 13. There is also a fitness room and several sports fields. On deck 11 you can enjoy the swimming pool with whirlpool and solarium reserved for adults. The spa offers treatments and massages, and acupuncture. You can also take care of yourself at the hair salon and get manicures and waxing at the beauty salon, not to mention the shopping sessions! In the evening, the Tropical Theater is an opportunity to attend Broadway shows such as the musical Mamma Mia, but also rock concerts. You also have the casino, discotheque, cinema, card games...
3-The activities for children
On board the Serenade of The Seas, Royal Caribbean offers daycare for babies from 6 to 36 months. As for the 3 to 12 years old, they are welcomed at Adventure Ocean for fun games, theater and painting lessons. Teenagers enjoy the disco reserved for them, the Fuel Teen Disco. And on deck 12, Adventure Beach is a water park with a pool and slide.
4-Dining, bars and lounges
Royal Caribbean offers a wide range of international cuisine and upscale service for Serenade of the Seas cruises with 10 restaurants. Rita's Cantina on deck 11 is a panoramic Mexican cuisine restaurant. Izumi allows you to taste Asian dishes on deck 12. As for Chops Grille, it is a refined steakhouse. The Safari Club is a space composed of several bars and lounges, some with sea view, in a colonial style decoration. And for lovers of good wines, the Vintage is absolutely essential. Finally, for a gourmet break, the Park Café is perfect.
5-Accommodation on board the Serenade of the Seas
You stay in an elegant and comfortable cabin and choose a king-size bed or two twin beds. Staterooms are either inside or outside with a porthole or balcony for a view of the sea. Cabins range from 151 to 323 square feet. The suites are much more spacious and comfortable, with a balcony. Depending on the type of suite, the surface area of the accommodation is 291 to 614 square feet on average, and 1,292 square feet for the Royal Suite.
6-Environment
The Serenade of the Seas, like other Radiance class ships, has a system that produces less nitrogen oxide emissions. Its design also allows it to reduce its fuel consumption. Finally, Royal Caribbean wants to eliminate the use of plastic on board as much as possible in the long term and has already eliminated plastic straws.
