    Bars & Lounges

    This ship has around twenty bars and thematic salons. On deck 8, the Ice Bar is distinguished by its icy atmosphere where you can admire ice sculptures from the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn bridge and Chrysler buildings. At the same level of the boat, the Matlings Beer & Whiskey Bar is the ideal meeting to quietly taste beers and spirits. The Shaker's Cocktail Bar is essential for passengers who like the atmosphere of pianos-bars. This boat has other bars and salons with various atmospheres, among others the Pian-Bar Mixx du Pont 6, the O’Sheehan’s Neighbourhood Bar & Grill Sports Bar & Grill and the Atrium Bar & Cafe.

    Restaurants

    Over the cruises, this ship provides you with a good culinary experience, thanks to around twenty restoration options. Three main restaurants are present on board, namely The Manhattan Room on bridge 7, Savor and Taste on bridge 6. These tables honor international gastronomy. Located at the back of the Pont 15, the Garden Café is the buffet restaurant of the ship, open for all meals of the day. Several other restaurants are accessible on board, at no additional cost, namely O'Sheehan's Neighbourhood and the Shanghai's Noodle Bar du Pont 7, both located on bridge 7. To offer you unique moments of gluttony, this boat is home to Also restaurants of paid specialties such as the French bistro and the Italian Cucina or the Moderno Churrascaria.

    Entertainment

    Passengers benefit from a variety of entertainment on board. Fitted at the front of bridges 6 and 7, the Breakaway Theater offers exclusive representations, like Broadway style musical productions. Located on bridge 7, the Breakaway Casino promises you unforgettable evenings by playing slot machines, blackjack, poker and many other games of money. Several other spaces are devoted to entertainment on board, among others the Fat Cats Jazz & Blues Club of Pont 8 with its jazz and blues concerts, the Headliners Comedy Club of Pont 6 and the Bliss Ultra Lounge nightclub at Pont 7.

    Children & adolescents

    Children are welcome on board. In the center of the bridges 12 and 13 is the Splash Academy dedicated to children from 3 to 11 years old. Various activities are organized under the supervision of qualified animators, among other games on floor mats, paintings, drawings and tournaments of Wii game consoles. Installed on bridge 16, the Teen Lounge entourage is reserved for adolescents from 12 to 17 years old. This room hosts a bar that serves alcohol-free drinks, a nightclub, a space with poufs, televisions with game consoles and an air-hockey table. Several other spaces are designed for these young passengers on board, like the Kid's Aqua Park of the Pont 15 and the video game room of the Pont 16.

    Pools, aquatic and sports activities

    Lovers of aquatic activities are enjoying this award-winning ship which is distinguished from the best boat for families in the United States. In the center of bridge 15, the Waves Pool Zone includes an outdoor swimming pool with a large tiled playground, four swirl baths and lounge chairs. This swimming pool area is served by its own bar and it hosts a scene for evening entertainment. For thrill seekers, Whip is unmissable with its two spiral slides that extend from bridge 17 to bridge 16. Nearby, two free fall slides offer you other experiences with sensations. Dedicated to the youngest passengers, the Kid's Aqua Park is made up of a shallow swimming pool and a children's slide.

    Sporting activities

    The Norwegian Breakaway offers its passengers a sports complex which extends to the back of the bridge 17. This area has an important course of strings at sea, a minigolf course on the sea theme, a trampoline in elastic, a wall D 'Climbing and a closed climbing cage with a spiral slide. On the upper deck, more traditional sports enthusiasts find a versatile land where you can play basketball, volleyball or football. This cruise ship also houses a fitness center at the front of its bridge 15 with latest generation sports equipment.

    Spa & Well-being

    Relaxation and well-being are essential for the company. The Mandara Spa wellness center extends over the front part of the bridges 14 and 15. This huge spa is home to 22 care rooms where massages and body care are offered. A wooden sauna cabin, a salt bedroom dedicated to halotherapy and a thermal area composed of a whirlpool bath and a cascade pool are also accessible in this complex. To offer passengers unique moments of relaxation, the Mandara Spa provides them with a space equipped with chairs heated in mosaics. To expand its services, this center also accommodates a beauty salon and a fitness center.

    Stores

    Most of the ship's shops are arranged in the center of Pont 8 and offer products excluding taxes. The TIDES store is devoted to the sale of jewelry, clothing and brands bags. The Jewel Box is the ship's jewelry. The Time Zone store is selling watches and sunglasses from big names like Guess, Dolce & Gabban and Michael Kors. On deck 15, The Marketplace is an outdoor commercial area where several stands offer something to fully enjoy the pools and your stops. On bridge 5, The Click Photo Gallery exhibits and sells the photos taken by the company's official photographers.

    Services

    Several services are offered to you during a cruise aboard the Norwegian Breakaway. The reception open 24 hours a day, the excursions office and the Internet Café are located on deck 6, just near the ship's atrium. For professional travelers, two meeting rooms with complete and modern presentation equipment are available on bridge 6, next to the card room and the library. To obtain basic care in the event of injury or illness, a medical center is open day and night in the middle of bridge 5.

    Shows and entertainment

    At Breakaway Theater, on bridges 6 and 7, enjoy Broadway musicals. The “Rock of Ages” show consists of five nominated musical titles at Tony Award and tells an exciting love story. The “Burn the Floor” production combines songs, traditional and Latin living room dances. At the Headliners Comedy Club of Pont 6, attend improvised comedy shows played by two large troops: The Second City and Howl At the Moon. At Fat Cats Jazz & Blues Club of Pont 8, admire the unrivaled performance of talented musicians passionate about blues and jazz.

    1-The ship

    Norwegian Breakaway has 18 decks, 14 of which are accessible to passengers. It is 1,070 feet long and 151 feet wide. During sea voyages, it can carry 3,963 passengers, accompanied by 1,657 crew members for optimum service.

     

    2-Adult entertainment and activities

    The Breakaway offers a wide range of activities, day and night.

    There's a 3-deck sports complex with a climbing wall, an acrobatic course and the famous The Plank, a board that overhangs the ocean for a thrilling ride.

    The Aqua Park for adults is also a must, with 5 slides including the Free Fall, the fastest slide at sea.

    Continue your relaxation with two pools, 4 whirlpools and treatments at the Mandara Spa.

    Stroll along the Waterfront, store, run on the Running Track, exercise in the fitness room or try your hand at mini-golf.

    In the evening, you can enjoy the casino or attend the many shows, musicals (Brun the Floor, Six), magic tricks, piano duets...

     

    3-Activities and entertainment for children

    The children's Aquapark is a must for outdoor fun! Located on deck 15, it features a pool, paddling pool, colorful slide and water games.

     

    Norwegian Cruise Line also offers age-appropriate activities. The Splash Academy allows 3/12 year-olds to play video games and have fun on the interactive dance floor. As for the Entourage Teen Lounge, this is a club reserved for 13/17 year-olds, with TV screens, table soccer and video games.

     

    4-Gastronomy, bars and lounges

    25 gastronomic experiences await you aboard the Breakaway. There are three main dining rooms and an all-you-can-eat buffet, as well as specialty restaurants. You can sample Brazilian dishes at Moderno Churrascaria on Deck 8, Italian flavors at La Cucina, sushi at Wasabi or the U.S. atmosphere at the American Diner.

     

    15 bars and lounges offer a variety of pleasures. The Garden Café Bar, with its huge picture windows, lets you admire the sea view. Discover the Skyy Vodka Ice Bar, inspired by Scandinavian ice hotels, and coffee lovers will appreciate the presence of Starbucks on board Norwegian Breakaway.

     

    5-Accommodation on board Norwegian Breakaway

    When it comes to accommodation, you can choose between inside or outside cabins, or opt for a family or balcony cabin. These are equipped with twin beds that can be converted into queen-size beds.

     

    For added space and comfort, Norwegian offers several types of suite. Club Balcony suites are spacious (237 to 581 sq. ft.) and equipped with a balcony. For the ultimate in luxury, The Haven suites are perfect, with bath, balcony, concierge service, 24-hour butler service and private solarium.
