Mardi Gras is the first cruise ship in North America to be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), significantly reducing sulfur, nitrogen oxide, and particulate emissions. The ship also incorporates energy-efficient technologies, including advanced waste management systems and seawater desalination for freshwater production—minimizing its environmental footprint.
